Three independent and yet interwoven series on the concept of order are presented by Christian Fessel on both floors of the Infostation.

Christian Fessel presents (partly large-scale) artistic photographic works on the subjects of architecture, landscape/travel and - especially for the "Month of Photography Off" - portrait in the photography space of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in Charlottenburg.
Overlays and light effects are often recurring elements in Fessel's pictures. Details and sobriety (partly bordering on melancholy) allow the work to oscillate between clarity and ambiguity. His waiting for the very specific moment of the most exciting light incident explain the suction effect of the photographs. Known architectures show completely new details, confusing the visual perception.
In the new series "Portrait", Fessel delegates the task of “creating your own image” literally to the viewer. The series shows the environment, but the person remains hidden. He invites the viewer to write down who one has seen, the perception is put to the discussion. From all the descriptions, the “common” person shall be created.
